How: Everyone always asks me how I got into this business. And it's actually a really lame story! hehe. Spunky (my webmaster and photographer) and I were really good friends and we worked at a restaurant together. Spunky did web design on the side as well and one day when we were hanging out at his house he showed me some websites of girls that did "NN" modeling (NN=Non-Nude). And so he got the bright idea that I should do that too! and he could design the site and take the pictures and stuff.... So we did.(of course I don't do "nn" pictures, I like showing it all off haha) see I told you it was a lame story!
Why: I have soo much fun doing this. It's the greatest "job" I've ever had. It's so easy and the money is great! I meet so many interesting (and sexy) people when I travel to conventions and stuff. It sucks being away from my family (and my pets)but it is well worth it in the end because I get to shoot with some really sexy girls!
When: Kate's Playground started in August of 2003. Karen Loves Kate opened for business in May of 2005.
Daily Life: Everyone also wonders what it is I do all day since this website is my only job... well that answer to that is... "nothin' much" haha. I sleep in late, I work out, I post on my members only forum and if it's a camshow day then I will get all dolled up and put on a sexy lil show for everyone hehe! I also do some behind the scenes type stuff for the website. I have a hand in almost everything that happens at KPG. (Spunky must think I'm so annoying!) I want this website to be fun though, and I do that by adding a lot of my own personal touches to it.
About the Girl: I used to be REALLY shy, but having a website has really helped that and now I'm very outgoing and I can be a lil overbearing sometimes. I like to have fun though :) I used to be really self conscious and I still am somedays, but I don't like feeling that way so I really try to just let it go and tell myself that I'm me and that's all I need to be. Because of that I'm also a bit of an online geek (but I think these days being an online geek is the new cool thing to do lol). I used to play World of Warcraft all the time but I got tired of it, I've always been into online games though (like diablo). I surf the web and spend a lot of time chatting with friends on messenger. I shop like crazy too (online or at the mall)! I also like to read (yes, I read books :P ). I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. I guess I am trying to do some webmastering but who knows if that will work out for me. Hopefully I will just play my cards right and I will be retired by age 35.
Other Stuff: I recently became a webmaster for another girl who is smokin' hot and lots of fun to work with. Her name is Natalie Sparks. I run her website myself, it's a lot of work but I really enjoy it. I've been wanting to get behind the scenes for some time now. It was just a matter of finding the right girl to work with. Natalie is from Vegas so she doesn't exactly live close to me but I flew her up to Vancouver to shoot for a week to open her site (yes, I do all of the photos as well) and we had a great time playing around Vancouver and hanging out at this really cool hotel that I rented for us. It was a lot of hard work since we had to cram so much into that week but it was well worth it. Her site has been up and running for a few months now and we are both really enjoying it!
